This afternoon, the forum of the LG ex-political office holders in the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State between 2007 – 2010 visited Gov. Seyi Makinde to show their solidarity for the good works his administration has embarked on.
The Spokesman of the forum, Mogaji Asimiyu Ojuolape commended the Governor on his efforts in making Oyo State better. He expressed the confidence they have in the ability of the Governor in offsetting their unpaid allowance.
The Governor in his address appreciated their solidarity and promised the payment of their outstanding dues irrespective of party affiliation. He opined that all workers are entitled to payment for their labour.
He also expressed his administration’s preparation to insulate the State from the impact of the impending reduction in federal allocation due to the global crash in oil price.
