Oriire North Local Council Development Area

The council was carved out of defunct oriire local government in 2016 by an act of Oyo state Parliament.
It is bounded by Olorunsogo local government, Igbeti by the north, Oriire local government by the south, ORIIRE south by the west while in the east by ASA local government in Kwara state
The people of this area are predominantly yoruba by tribe and Christian and Muslim respectively.

Our Vision

For the economic, social and educational development of the inhabitants of Oriire North LCDA and to bring government nearer to the people.

Our Mission

To ensure:

  • Agricultural development : To make utmost priority, provision of Farm in puts, financial assistance and farm implements to the farmers at affordable Cost
  • Roads development: Special attention is to be given to opening of rural feeder roads and periodic grading of existing ones.
  • Provision of portable water: Digging of boreholes both manual and motorized and repairs of existing ones for the constant supply of water to d inhabitants.
  • Education: To support both the state and state government in the construction of modern classrooms, chairs, tables and instructional materials to both primary and secondary schools with utmost aims of providing sound and qualitative education to children of LCDA areas.
  • Health: Health they say is wealth. There shall be modern maternity and dispensary centres across nook and crannies of the area and provision of drug and dressings with clean environment.
  • Security and social amenities.: To ensure that this council is not haven for the miscreants, security outfits would be assisted and social amenities like television and recreational centres are to the provided
